Listen to our talk about Apple's springtime announcements at its Worldwide Developers Conference. I talked with three of the best minds in the Apple universe: Gina Trapani, currently author of the blog Smarterware and founding editor of the blog Lifehacker; Michael T. Rose of The Unofficial Apple Weblog, and Second Life's own ArminasX Saiman, owner of the particle store Electric Pixels and author of the blog Second Effects.

We talked about the iPhone 3GS, of course, and how the upcoming Snow Leopard operating system is likely to prove to be bigger than the 3GS. We also discussed the return of Steve Jobs, and whether the spinning beachball spins the other way in Australia and New Zealand.

WWDC was, of course, two weeks ago, but almost all of the discussion in this podcast is still current. Unfortunately, the sound quality isn't great, while you can hear me and Mike Rose pretty clearly, Gina is less audible and Armi sounds like he's mumbling. Give it a try and see if it works for you. Update 6/29: Mike recommended a free cross-platform tool called Levelator for cleaning up volume levels on a podcast — it's a miracle-worker. Thanks, Mike. I cleaned up the audio and re-uploaded it.
