Mon, 19 January 2009 Join us Sunday, Jan. 25, at 11 am SLT/Pacific Timefor a look at the Obama legacy. In previous years, it took a generation or two to settle a president’s legacy, but this is the fast-moving Internet era, so five days should be enough time to decide whether Obama is the The One Who Will Save Us All, or a socialist terrorist crook who hates America. We have three guests who will help us settle that question, all of them politically active in Second Life and real life: GenJCChristian Homewood, a liberal who blogs satirically at Jesus’s General. Wyatt Forster, organizer of the Grand Old Party, a very busy Republican and conservative group in Second Life. And Siri Vita, who organized a hearing on the Obama health plan in Second Life, and reported on the findings for the office of the president-elect. Check out this terrific video by Draxtor Despress about the healthcare hearing. We’ll meet at the World2Worlds Seaside Theater. SLURL Reminder: Follow Copper Robot here, or by joining our group in Second Life, or on our Google Group. If you think your friends and groups will be interested in this event, please pass the word. And if you have any questions, or comments, or ideas for future Copper Robot interviews, let me know. Category: general -- posted at: 4:34 PM Comments[0] |
